Investment Screening in the European Union, Brussels, 29-30 April 2020
This timely conference is dedicated to the new EU foreign investment control regime that will enter into force on 11 October 2020. For the first time, the European Commission will actively participate in assessing, investigating, authorising, prohibiting and unwinding foreign investments. Affected business sectors include energy, transport, water, health, communications, media, data processing, aerospace, defence, and other critical infrastructure, including financial infrastructure. Investments in critical technologies, including AI, robotics, nanotechnology and biotechnology, are also affected.
